ok i tink runway cycling is off. admission is free but its a BYOB (bring your own bike) event. bikes are of corz available for rental, but it cost a freaking 18.90 each, and frm wat i read u rent it at one of the safra clubs and bring it yourself to the air base, no word on whether u can rent it there though. each lap ard the air base is 4km, so its rather ptless, spending 18.90 to cycle in 4km circles all morning.

AAR for Ex JIAOBIN

Manpower: NTM* was given at 24hrs. Recallable personnel was abt 30, of which close to 12 was given excuse frm MOB**. the manpower level was 9 out of 18 (50%), which gave it a REDCON Level of ? (but it must be a failed level).

Security: Except for staff in confidence (read: embarrassing) stuff like the Karaoke ep the previous nite, security was generally maintained.

Ops: Failure to effectively communicate FUP*** almost let to some driver driving a toyota corolla to "holland" all the way to seletar and back. FUP was generally quite out of the way. 2nd FUP was well chosen, leading to a reward of free beer and some noise pollution.

Log: transport was sufficiently indented. Ration was not really enough, judging from an order of "fish & chips, extra fish". Teh Peng was also available, but alas, the person who needs it most was not present.

Conclusion: satisfactory outing, but more could be done. the next conducting officer, pls try and recce a better FUP. Photos of Ex JIAOBIN will be up soon.
